Week 1

It has been a busy first week back. 

The children enjoyed their first Outdoor Learning session wtih fantastic enthusiasm.  They were nature detectives identifying trees and mini beasts.  All children enjoyed the activities and it was wonderful to see them connecting with nature. 

Today, the children performed their poems to the class.  We were blown away by the incredible, confident and clear performances.  Seuss class voted for Ismail and his brilliant poem by Michael Rosen called 'Don't'.  They also voted for Aadhira and her memorable performance of 'The Crocodile' .  Both of them will represent Seuss class next week in the Whole School Poetry Recital. Many congratulations to them both. The whole class made us all incredibly proud of their performances today and were awarded house points for excellence and determination. 

A small reminder for all children to bring in named water bottles in the warm weather and to ensure they have brought in an outdoor learning kit.
