Our Annual Art Gallery Event and Staff Bake Off!

We were delighted to welcome parents and carers into school for our annual Art Gallery event, a wonderful celebration of the creativity and hard work shown by all year groups across the year. Each class proudly displayed artwork inspired by the artists they have studied, showcasing a wide range of styles, techniques and ideas. It was fantastic to see the progression of skills across the school and to share this with our community.

Alongside the gallery, we hosted a bake sale to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity, a cause that is very close to the hearts of many of our staff. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown through donations and purchases, helping us support such an important charity.

Adding to the excitement, we also held a staff Bake Off competition! The standard was extremely high, making it a difficult task for our judges — the Art Captains and School Council — who were joined by staff judges as well. After much deliberation, Mrs Rooney was awarded first place, earning 200 house points for Anning, while Miss McDonald secured second place, earning 100 house points for Fleming.

Well done to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success. It was a fantastic afternoon celebrating creativity, community and kindness.
