Lewis' Learning Log

Despite being a four day week, Lewis have packed a lot of learning in! They have been writing balanced arguments about whether Mulan should join the army in her father's place and then have taken the skills of the genre to write their own balanced arguments about whether children should wear school uniforms or not. Wednesday afternoon, we learned about how weather forecasts are created using weather machines, buoys and satellites. They inputted data from a weather forecast for Chelmsford into Excel to create a spreadsheet and line graph. I was extremely impressed with everyone's computing skills.

Today, we are having a screen free day of teaching (with the exception of watching a special live assembly to celebrate Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday). I had better turn my computer off now...
