What a fantastic last week of term we have had together!

We kicked off the week with Arts Day, and the class composed and wrote their own poems using a range of figurative language - I hope you enjoyed reading these when they got home.

Next up, the entire year group showed courage, confidence and creative flair in all three performances of our Christmas production. I felt so incredibly proud of each and every one of the children for their efforts and involvement. All of our hard work throughout the half term definitely paid off!

The class took part in an "RE Day" answering the philosophical questions, "Is seeing believing?" and "What is truth?". It raised lots of insightful and thoughtful discussions.

Then, yesterday, the class worked hard on constructing their own prototypes of a wire loop game. The products they designed and built were fantastic and I could tell that the children were all very proud of their creations...which is most important after all!

We will finish off the term together today with some fun and games (bingo and a quiz - two of my favourite hobbies).

I would like to wish absolutely everyone a fantastic Christmas and an enjoyable, restful break.

I look forward to welcoming back lots of happy faces into the classroom in the new year.
