Lewis' Learning Log!

What a fantastic half term we have had in Lewis Class; it's been my absolute pleasure getting to know each and every one of you! I'm already looking forward to next half term. We finished off Autumn 1 with a wonderfully relaxing art lesson, painting our own masterpieces inspired by Claude Monet's "The Houses of Parliament" piece. Our aim was to recreate a variety of famous landmarks in his style, painting them at sunset with the landmark's reflection in water below. We combined all of the watercolour techniques we had learnt this half term to produce our own impressionist artwork. I couldn't help but show them all off here, but everyone will get the opportunity to see them in person at our school art gallery later on in the academic year.
