Lewis' Learning Log!

Wow! What an absolutely amazing first week back to school the children in Lewis class have had so far! I am blown away with the mature attitudes, the desire and eagerness to participate in lessons and learn everyone has displayed. Each and every one of Lewis class have made returning to the classroom after the summer break easy! So, thank you all.

This week so far, each child has written their own free verse poem using repetition to highlight our new "STRIVE" school values, refreshed and furthered their knowledge of place value in maths and begun to investigate the properties of solids, liquids and gases in science.

Don't forget to do lots of reading at home, record it in your diary and show us on Monday to start working your way around our class "Reading at Home Monopoly" board! Also, if you are interested in becoming a house representative, being in the school council, being an eco-warrior or digital leader, you may want to use some time over the weekend to write a few notes explaining why to tell the class on Monday.
