Delightful Dahl 16.01.26
Date: 16th Jan 2026 @ 4:34pm
What a fabulous start to the Spring term we have had in Dahl class! Not only have we been writing an informal letter and learning all about Mount Vesuvius and how it affected Pompeii but we've been perfecting our short division too using the bus stop method!
Dahl class have been full of curiosity in our afternoon topics too. We have been learning all about sound and how it travels. We conducted an experiment around our school to see how the noise level changed (Mr Smith's PE lesson seemed have the loudest readings)!
As Historians, we have researched the Roman Army looking specifically at requirements to get in and what life was like. We then put our research into action when we acted as television presenters and presented to the class. They were very enjoyable to watch to say the least!
I can't wait to see what next week has in store for us.
