We have had a fantastic week filled with creativity, teamwork and hands‑on learning. In DT, we explored mechanisms and the importance of recycling. We experimented with moving parts, thought carefully about how things work and it was brilliant to see our ideas come to life.
In Science, we investigated omnivores, carnivores and herbivores, comparing their diets and exploring how their sizes can differ. We asked thoughtful questions, made predictions and used diagrams and graphs to explain our thinking clearly. Our scientific discussions were full of curiosity and confidence.
During Outdoor Learning, we worked brilliantly as teams to build a working water run using guttering, buckets, twigs, leaves and rope. We tested, adapted and improved our designs, showing fantastic resilience and problem‑solving. There was plenty of splashing, laughing and learning along the way.
In Computing, we continued developing our skills in Excel spreadsheets, learning how to organise information, enter data and use simple formulas. We showed great focus and independence, and it was wonderful to see our confidence growing.
It has been a week full of teamwork, creativity and determination — we are excited to see what we achieve next.
