Delightful Dahl 10.10.25
Date: 10th Oct 2025 @ 3:39pm
We’ve had a great week in Dahl class, full of creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning! The children have really thrown themselves into each subject and have enjoyed exploring new ideas and skills together. Here are some of our highlights from the week.
In Art, we experimented with different watercolour techniques. The children learned how to create texture and tone using methods such as wet-on-wet, dry brushing, and splattering. They produced some beautiful pieces showing how colours can blend and flow to create stunning effects.
Our History lessons have been all about Ancient Greece. Working in teams, the children researched different Greek gods and goddesses before creating colourful and informative posters to share what they found out. It was fantastic to see how well everyone collaborated and how much enthusiasm they showed for presenting their work.
Science has been all about the water cycle this week. We explored how evaporation, condensation, and precipitation work together — and even carried out an experiment to make it rain in the classroom! The children were fascinated to see the process happen before their eyes.
It’s been a busy and enjoyable week full of discovery and creativity. Well done to everyone for your hard work and enthusiasm!
