Dahl Class Update - 11.09.26

What another brilliant week Dahl class have had!

We kicked off the week with our class elections... I was enthralled by the amount of thought and effort that went into many of the speeches; as well as the confidence and enthusiasm given to delivering them. Well done to everyone who participated and congratulations to those of you who earnt a role supporting our class throughout the year ahead.

In English, we have started a unit focused around The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. The children have been fascinated by the concept of Narnia being hidden in a wardrobe and enjoyed writing character descriptions about the unique Mr Tumnus.

In science, we started our states of matter unit by exploring a range of materials and trying to classify whether they were solids, liquids or gases. Some of the materials really surprised the class - jelly and salt being solid even though they weren't hard and could be poured.
