A Slice of Success: Macmillan Cake Sale and House Homework

Today, our school community came together to support the Macmillan Coffee Morning, and what a fantastic day it was. I was truly overwhelmed by the generosity of our families – we received so many donations of cakes and bakes that we had to hold three separate sales throughout the day! The atmosphere in the hall was wonderful, with children enjoying the chance to sit with friends, share a treat, and take pride in supporting such a worthy cause.

Alongside the cake sale, we also showcased our latest round of House Homework projects. The effort and creativity that went into these pieces was outstanding. From imaginative models to beautifully presented research and artwork, it was clear how much time and thought had gone into every contribution. The children were so proud to see their work displayed and to talk about their ideas with others.

Events like these remind me of the strength of our school community. The combination of raising money for a cause that touches so many lives, while also celebrating the talents and hard work of our pupils, made for a very special day. Thank you again to everyone who baked, donated, or supported – your contributions really do make a difference.
