A busy week !
Date: 25th Sep 2026 @ 4:20pm
A week of curiosity, creativity and cake!
What a great week we have had in Seuss Class! The children have continued to show enthusiasm, creativity and determination in their learning.
In English, we began exploring a different version of The Three Little Pigs. We discovered the story from Alexander T. Wolf's perspective and what he believes happened! The children have been practising their story telling skills using adventurous adjectives and verbs to bring the story to life.
In maths, we have continued to develop our understanding of place value, focusing on partitioning numbers into hundreds, tens and ones. We ended the week with Mrs Rooney's times tables stick game to check our fluency of our two times table.
Seuss class have been learning how historians use clues from the past to discover what life was like in the Stone Age. We explored how artefacts can provide valuable evidence about how people lived, worked and survied thousands of years ago.
In Art, we experimented with different shading techniques and how they can add light, dark and texture to our drawings.
Today, we enjoyedour wonderful exhibition and Macmillan cake sale. The children enjoyed seeing the whole school's house homework whilst enjoying a delicious cake. Thank you if you contributed and supported this special event.
Have a great weekend.
