Cowell Class have had a very busy and exciting week of learning!

In Art, we experimented with mixing paint to develop our understanding of primary, secondary and tertiary colours. We loved exploring what happens when colours are blended together and were fascinated to see how many new shades we could create. Our classroom was full of colour and creativity. 

In History, we have been learning about Ancient Egypt and explored the fascinating process of mummification. We were intrigued by why mummification was important and enjoyed learning about the steps involved - it was quite shocking! 

We also celebrated World Religion Day this week. Some of us shared which religions we follow and discussed why our beliefs are important to us. This led to meaningful conversations about understanding, kindness and celebrating our differences and we loved sharing photos, clothing and special items that mean alot to us.
