What an exciting week we’ve had in Cowell Class! Our classroom has been buzzing with curiosity, creativity and plenty of festive cheer.

In Science, we’ve been learning all about light. We investigated how shadows are formed and discovered that the shape and darkness of a shadow can change depending on the object blocking the light. We talked about whether darker objects make darker shadows and explored new vocabulary such as transparent, translucent and opaque.

In DT, we have been preparing for our exciting couscous-making session next week!! We discussed ingredients, flavours and what makes a healthy dish. Everyone is looking forward to putting their planning into action and tasting their own creations next Wednesday!

We also enjoyed watching the infants’ Christmas show! There were lots of smiles, singing along and it has definitely put  us in a Christmassy mood🎄
