Stone Age Enterprise Day

Date: 14th Nov 2025 @ 8:43pm

What a fantastic day we have had in Seuss Class!

Today was special! Seuss class certainly wowed parents, carers, helpers and the whole school with their amazing Stone Age knowledge. They have worked incredibly hard and it was such a joy to see their confidence, excitement and enthusiasm shine as they shared everything they have learned in History.

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome so many of you this morning. It was clear how proud you were of the children, just as proud as we are! Thank you so much for coming along to support and celebrate their hard work.

This afternoon, the children let their creativity shine as they made clay sculptures inspired by the British sculptor Barbara Hepworth. Hepworth was an abstract artist who drew inspiration from nature and her sculptures often included holes to let the light through, something the children explored beautifully in their own work.

After that, they designed informative posters all about how to stop bullying, drawing on the important messages they learned from the theatre production they watched earlier in the week.

Congratulations to Maisie, our pupil of the week, to Henley for his PE award and to the whole class for achieving the school spelling award.

Well done, Seuss Class, for being incredible this week!

Have a restful weekend. 🌟
