Delightful Dahl

Date: 23rd Jan 2026 @ 4:09pm

A busy busy week in Dahl class! It was fabulous to start the week celebrating World Religion Day. We took part in many different activities, celebrated different religions and a special thank you to the children who brought items and photos in and shared infront of the class. We have been looking at decomposition and pattern recognition in computing where the children took part in different activities. I was very impressed with the skills they showed, they jumbled stories, built different parts of lego and sorted a variety of things into categories.

In History, we have explored the Roman roads and how they still benefit us today. Dahl class created a Museum exhibition explaining all the important facts! In Science, we have delved deeper into sound looking at different types of pitch. We experimented first hand with percussion, wind and string instruments looking at how we could make low and high pitch sounds.

An amazing week, well done Dahl class for all your hard work!
