What an exciting and action-packed week we've had in Year 3 – full of stories, science, and celebrations!

Big Bad Wolf… or Just Misunderstood?
In English, we retold the story of The Three Little Pigs – but this time, we explored “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs” We stepped into the shoes of the Big Bad Wolf and looked at things from his point of view. In History, we travelled way back in time to the Stone Age! We learned how different life was back then – no shops, no electricity, no comfy beds! People had to hunt for food, make their own clothes, and live in caves or huts. Science was super exciting this week too! We became Rock Detectives, investigating the permeability and durability of different types of rocks. We asked questions like, “Does this rock let water through?” and “Will this rock break easily?” We even tested them out – just like real scientists!

We ended the week by celebrating European Day of Languages. We explored different languages and cultures, then created some amazing posters to show what we learned. The creativity was incredible – colourful flags, greetings in different languages, and lots of fun facts. We’ll find out the winning poster on Monday, and we can’t wait!
