What a brilliant week Cowell have had! 

In Science, we tested different surfaces to see how friction works. We compared how objects moved on smooth and rough surfaces and made careful observations. Everyone worked like real scientists, making predictions and discussing what they noticed. Great teamwork and super thinking were on display!

In History, we travelled back in time to learn about the Ancient Egyptians. We researched different aspects of Egyptian life and shared what they discovered. They worked beautifully, showing fantastic focus and enthusiasm while learning about this fascinating civilisation.

In English, we have had lots of fun writing diary entries based on George’s Marvellous Medicine. The children especially loved writing about the moment when Grandma drank the medicine and flew out of her chair! There was lots of laughter as we shared our writing, and we used brilliant descriptive language to capture just how funny and dramatic the scene was.

Well done, Year 3, for such a wonderful week of learning. We are so proud of your hard work and enthusiasm — keep it up! ⭐
