Tolkien Class Update 13.06.25

Date: 13th Jun 2025 @ 1:47pm

It has been a busy couple of weeks in Tolkien Class and the rest of the term promises to be the same!

Over the half term break, the children were tasked with learning a poem to perform in front of their peers. It was brilliant to see that not only did all children take the time to learn their poems but also have the confidence to perform them off by heart. This week, we watched as both Maelyn and Nicole stood up and represented our class brilliantly in the whole school final. Well done girls and congratulations to Maelyn for finishing in second place.

We stepped away from our day to day lessons on Friday to enjoy a whole school Geography Day. It was inspiring to see the class work in groups and take on roles and responsibilities of making our school a greener and more environmentally friendly place. We look forward to seeing how their efforts will contribute towards this across the school.

With plenty more enrichment and the excitement of Transition Day coming up, it promises to be a fantastic end to what has been an amazing year in Tolkien Class.
