Tolkien Class Update 11.7.25

It is hard to believe that the end of academic year is just 7 school days away...

As the year comes to an end, Tolkien Class have remained as keen as ever. This week, we have written play scripts in English and this afternoon the children got into groups and took on the roles of the character in Mid Summer Night's dream and performed in front of their peers. It was great to see their creativity come out and how well they go into their roles. In addition this this, they also finished typing up their instruction texts which they will be bringing home next week. 

It has been a very creative week this week with whole year group dance on Monday, ready for our end of year celebrations. We also made a start on our felt pencil cases which will also be finished next week and sent home. The children also got the opportunity to get out in the sunshine on Thursday afternoon when they took part in a whole year group orienteering activity. Their competitive sides came out as they worked as a team to find the point allocated on their maps and answered questions based on what they found.
