End of Spring Term

Date: 3rd Apr 2025 @ 1:57pm

Well... where has Spring Term gone?

We are two thrids of the way through Year 5 and it has ben great to see the progress that all the children have made since September. This week, we have concluded our geogrpahy, science, PSHE and DT topics with great success. In particular, the children loved making their seasonal pizzas on Monday afternoon and were smiling from ear to ear when they took them home. I will leave you with pictures of them all. In English this week, we have been finishing our newspapers inspired by the events of the book Explorer where a group of children survive a plane crash and then remain alone in the Amazon Rainforest. The children have enjoyed using formal and reporting language and quotes to report on the events that unfolded in their newspapers. Tomorrow, we look forward to typing these up in best and taking them home to share with you all.

It was great to see you all at parents evening this Tuesday and Wednesday and share the positive progress that the children have made. With just one term left of Year 5, the children have plenty of time to work towards their targets.

Wishing you all a brilliant Easter Holidays and I'll look forward to seeing you all in the Summer Term.
