What a week! 

This week our Year 4 Public Speaking Team set off to ARU to compete in the Mighty Oak Public Speaking Competition. They competed with such bravery and courage and displayed excellent public speaking skills. So much so, that Zuhaira was awarded a special award from the judging panel for recognition of her brilliant debate speech. As a team, our debate focus was that school should start at 10am and they delivered their speeches articulately and confidently. Well done to all of you!

In class, it has been a busy week! We have started our new science topic of Animals Including Humans and began with looking at the digestive system. We looked at the different internal organs and how food is digested through our bodies. We had the oppportunity to label each internal organ with its scientific name and also their main functions. 

Next week is only a four day week with lots of exciting things to do!
