Wow — what a week it’s been in Cowell Class! This week, year 3 have truly gone above and beyond, showing focus, creativity, and a fantastic attitude in both art and science.

Collage Creations and Brilliant Bones!
In art, we experiemnted with different collage techniques. Using paper scraps, we experimented with layering and overlapping. The results were amazing. 

In science, we explored the skeletal system. We named the major bones and looked at their functions and how they support movement and protection. We created our own labelled diagrams and learned fun facts like how babies are born with around 300 bones — but adults have only 206! (Ask your child why — they’ll impress you with the answer!)
