What a fantastic day we have had today! 

In science this afternoon, we were investigating how water changes state by melting different types of ice cream! During the afternoon, we tested 4 different ice creams (Magnum, Calippo, Twister and rocket lolly) and observed how they changed over time. The children discovered that the rocket lolly melted the quickest followed by the Calippo and the Magnum took the longest. We discussed why this would be the case as a class and the children linked it back to their previous learning where we investigated the melting point of chocolate.
