Welcome to Perryfields Junior School Website
Perryfields Junior School is situated in the midst of Springfield, Chelmsford on a pleasant housing area. Inside the school we have eight large and airy classrooms, two for each year group; a new state of the art ICT suite; a new well stocked library; large hall; range of work spaces and reading areas.
We ensure a stimulating learning environment through the use of white board technology and other more traditional means - visits and visitors and a broad and varied curriculum.
Our kitchen supplies hot meals of the highest quality to children and staff. Our catering manager provides training for kitchen staff across Essex and the meals whilst being healthy are also extremely tasty.
Outside the school we have two playgrounds, each with an adventure play area and two fields. We have our own outdoor pool where the children are given swimming instruction during the summer term. Our extensive grounds are further enhanced by a beautiful wooded area and a buddy garden for the children's use. We share a site with Perryfields Infant and Boswells Secondary School, both of which we work with very closely ensuring smooth transition at year 3 and 7.
