School Council Minutes
For children in need, we raised awareness by going into school wearing spots, and made biscuits to sell and many other events. We raised a stomping £467.25!
On the 29th of September we had a school assembly that meant we had to bring in types of tinned/canned food for those less fortunate than us.
During Halloween we did a pumpkin carving competition with the teachers, asking for a carved pumpkin for us to judge. Several teachers competed for 1st or 2nd but we judged Miss McDonald in 1st and Miss Ford in 2nd.
Perryfields had a great time on the 14th of December 2016 with the lovely Christmas dinner and dressed in bright jumpers. We sang our hearts out with all the songs we had learnt, and wore homemade Christmas hats. A Christmas hat competition took place with us judging them. We agreed 1st place to be Daisy in Morpurgo, in 2nd place was Freddy in Pullman, and in 3rd place was………. Mrs. Clifford.
In 2017 we will be having a Red Nose day where all students will be bringing in some money to buy cakes that will raise money for a chosen charity. Dates will be confirmed in the New Year.
Miss Gunn will be taking part in a marathon in March 2017 while Perryfields junior school will be raising money for Ms. Gunn doing her 26 mile marathon.
WE WILL BE UPDATING THIS SOON…….
