Admissions

The school follows the LA policy on admissions and all requests for admissions are referred to the LA and dealt with by them.  Prospective parents should contact the school in the first instance when the school will happily clarify the LA’s admission policy and assist wherever possible. Parents are encouraged to make an appointment to visit the school and meet the Headteacher.

Year 3 Admissions

 

All Year 2 children attending Perryfields Infant School are guaranteed a place at Perryfields Junior School provided that an application is made before the closing date in January, as determined by Essex County Council.  Admissions information is automatically sent to all parents with children in Year 2 by Essex County Council.  Perryfields Junior School sends a registration form which also needs to be completed.

 

A series of informal meetings for parents of children in Year 2 take place during the school year to enable parents to meet children and staff, visit classrooms and learn about day to day procedures. These meetings give parents the opportunity to become familiar with the school in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
